Lake View Terrace is a title sponsor at Annual Lake Havasu Balloon Festival
January 21, 2012

“The staff and residents turned out for the event and we could not have done it without them,” stated Shauna Shockley, Marketing Director. They helped with setting up the booth, escorting residents back and forth from the community, provided a respite area for residents and family members at the booth, and boxed lunches for everyone. The respite area and the food made the booth a very popular stop on Saturday.

Residents were escorted right on to the balloon field and directly to the various sections of the event like the art guild’s art village and the Lake View booth. “The balloon pilot, Jeff Ebel and his crew for the “Spilt Paint” balloon were the icing on the cake,” states Shockley. “He was truly generous guy and balloon enthusiast. He was very generous with the rides and took our raffle winners, and crew members on beautiful, breathtaking flights over Lake Havasu. It was a pleasure to sponsor him, his family and crew!”

December 11, 2011

The Alzheimer's/Dementia Connection of Havasu held its annual "Tree of Reflection Dedication Ceremony" Sunday evening. Lake View Terrace Memory Care Community and its management company, Frontier Management CEO, Greg Roderick received awards. They were honored for their "contribution to the continuing support and education of the families and residents involved with Alzheimer's disease and dementia."

Lake View Terrace Memory Care Executive Director DeAndra Wooldridge accepted the award on behalf of Lake View Terrace. June Sulffridge, Regional Vice President for Frontier Management, accepted Mr. Roderick's award on his behalf.

Shauna Shockley, Marketing Director for Lake View Terrace, is a member of the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer's/Dementia Connection of Havasu.

The ceremony was very moving.  The key speaker was the wife of a resident at Lake View Terrace.  Her speech was based on the "love story" she and her husband have had all these years and that still continues even though he is fading. She stressed how important it is to stay involved with loved ones: "Don't leave them before they leave you."
